IN PALESTINE, A PHOTO EXHIBITION OPENS WITH THE SUPPORT OF LITHUANIAN DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION
On 21 April, Alhend Musleh’s photo exhibition “Lithuania in the eyes of Palestinians” was opened in Palestinian city of Ramallah. The exhibition is part of project “Consolidation and development of cooperation between Lithuanian and Palestinian non-governmental organizations” funded under Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Program of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The project is implemented by the cultural center “In Actio“(Lithuania) and The Alternative Information Center (Palestine).Opening of the exhibition was attended by Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel Darius Degutis, as well as representatives of “In Actio“. They came to Palestine to discuss further opportunities for cooperation and the establishment of a network of Lithuanian and Palestinian NGOs.
On 6-13 December 2010, A.Musleh’s photo exhibition “Palestine” was displayed in the European Information Office of the Lithuanian Seimas.
