IN KYIV, LITHUANIAN FOREIGN VICE-MINISTER AND UKRAINE’S DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER DISCUSS ECONOMIC COOPERATION

On 6 November in Kyiv, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Rolandas Kriščiūnas met with Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Viktor Maiko to discuss prospects for bilateral relations and preparations for the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.

R.Kriščiūnas stressed the significance that the singing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement would have for Ukraine’s modernization and new opportunities for cooperation between the EU and CIS countries.

The Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister and Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister also exchanged information on topical issues related to trade with neighbouring countries.
