IN DUBLIN, AMBASSADOR AND HIGH RANKING CATHOLIC CLERGY DISCUSS PROVIDING SUPPORT TO LITHUANIAN COMMUNITY IN IRELAND

On June 15, Lithuanian Ambassador to Ireland and high ranking Lithuanian Catholic clergymen, who attended the 50th International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin, discussed issues related to pastoral care of Lithuanian immigrants in Ireland, mobilization of the Lithuanian community and provision of support.

The meeting at the Embassy of Lithuania was attended by bishops Gintautas Grušas and Rimantas Norvila, delegate to Congress Žydrūnas Kulpis and Chaplain of the Lithuanian Catholic Mission in Ireland, Fr. Egidijus Arnašius.

Ambassador V.Purlys noted that the Lithuanian Catholic Mission in Ireland played a very important role in mobilizing the Lithuanian community and fostering our national identity abroad.
