In Davos, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis will take part in a debate on the threat of nuclear confrontation
Today, on 17 January, in the Davos World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy Gabrielius Landsbergis will take part in a session entitled ‘Thinking the Unthinkable: The Risk of Nuclear Confrontation’.
Together with the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA) Jiří Šedivý, the Chair of the Freedom House Board of Trustees Jane Harman and other participants, Landsbergis will discuss nuclear threats escalating from Russia. The political leaders’ debate will focus on ways to keep nuclear capabilities in check and prevent atomic threats.
