GERMAN FOREIGN MINISTER WILL PAY A VISIT TO LITHUANIA
On 2 November, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Guido Westerwelle is paying a working visit to Lithuania.
German Foreign Minister will hold meetings with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and with Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis.During the meeting, Ministers A.Ažubalis and G.Westerwelle intend to discuss relations between Lithuania and Germany, energy security, relations with Russia and Belarus, as well as key issues on NATO’s agenda.
Minister A.Ažubalis also intends to acquaint his counterpart with the priorities of the Lithuanian chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2011.
Minister G.Westerwelle took office as German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs on 28 October 2009. This is his first visit to Lithuania.
