Foreign Ministry’s statement on terrorist attack in Tunisia

We strongly condemn the terrorist attack that took place yesterday in the Tunisian town of Ben Gardane and offer condolences to the families of the victims.
This attack once again shows that Tunisia’s stability will continue to be challenged as long as chaos reigns in the neighbouring country. We should put all efforts to stabilize Libya and address the terrorism threat.
We reaffirm our solidarity with the people and the Government of Tunisia, whose exemplary democratic transition can serve as a model for other countries of the region.
