Foreign Ministry's Chancellor Stakėnienė received the Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia
On 27 January, the Chancellor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aistė Stakėnienė, met in Vilnius with Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
During the meeting, bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Armenia was discussed, and good institutional practices were shared. The meeting also focused on issues of financial management, the organization of work within ministries and diplomatic representations, personnel management, digitalization of processes, and crisis management.
Karapetyan was also received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Audra Plepytė, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Laimonas Talat-Kelpša, Political Director, and the heads of various departments. Armenian representatives took an interest in Lithuania's European integration experience as a new European Integration Department was established in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. Strategic communication issues of particular relevance to Armenia were also discussed.
