Foreign Ministry pays tribute to the fallen U.S. soldiers departing Lithuania

On 3 April in Vilnius, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Julius Pranevičius, together with the Ministry's staff attended a solemn ceremony to pay tribute to and escort home the U.S. soldiers who died during their service in Pabradė.
“It was not just a farewell – it was a silent but strong confirmation that the bond with our closest allies is strong, and based on trust and shared values,” said the Vice-Minister after the ceremony.
As the motorcade moved along Gediminas Avenue, hundreds of people testified that we are grateful to our closest allies for their presence in Lithuania and that we are united by a strong transatlantic bond and mutual trust.
