FOREIGN MINISTER PAYS A VISIT TO ARMENIA

On 25-26 April Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis on a delegation led by the President Valdas Adamkus pays a visit to Armenia.
Meetings with the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan and Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Tigran Toroyan are planned during the visit.
The issues to be addressed during these meetings include prospects of bilateral relations, regional cooperation, reforms in Armenia, and its determination to implement Euro-Atlantic objectives. It is planned to sign Agreement on the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments.
Foreign Minister returns to Vilnius on 26 April.
