On October 8, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Israel hosted the annual Team Lita Business Award ceremony, honoring business leaders and companies significantly contributing to economic cooperation between Lithuania and Israel.

This year’s main laureate is ENERGIX Renewable Energies Ltd., recognized for its outstanding role in strengthening bilateral economic ties, selecting Lithuania as a strategic destination for long-term investment, and developing the large-scale Jonava renewable energy project combining wind, solar, and energy storage capacities. Accepting the award on behalf of the company, Nathan Hetz, Chairman of the Board of ENERGIX Renewable Energies Ltd., highlighted the strong potential of the Lithuanian renewable energy market and outlined the company's long-term plans to invest hundreds of millions of euros in Lithuania's green energy infrastructure. During his speech, Hetz also shared a personal connection to the country, highlighting his Litvak roots and family heritage tied to Lithuania.

In addition, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to several key partners for their valuable sector contributions: Egged Group for developing electric transit infrastructure in Vilnius, Elbit Systems for defense innovations and border security efforts alongside Lithuanian partners, Bin Nun Winery for preserving winemaking traditions and fostering cultural ties, and S. Schnitzer Diamonds Ltd for business excellence and ongoing support of the Team Lita community.

The Ambassador of Lithuania to Israel, Audrius Brūzga, noted that today’s awards recognize not only business achievements, but partners who build lasting connections in security, sustainability, and innovation between Lithuania and Israel. As Lithuania rapidly expands its high-tech, green energy, and defense sectors, Israeli industry leaders bring valuable investment, advanced technology, and international reach—a partnership that strengthens the economic future of both nations.

The Team Lita Business Award is an annual initiative by the Embassy of Lithuania in Israel to honor contributions to bilateral trade, technological exchange, investment, job creation, and cultural dialogue. Previous laureates include Wix (2024) and Israir Airlines (2025).
