COOPERATION WITH RUSSIA IN LAW ENFORCEMENT SPHERE WAS DISCUSSED

On 14 February Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis with the Minister of Justice Gintautas Bužinskas and Prosecutor General Algimantas Valantinas discussed Lithuanian-Russian cooperation in law enforcement sphere and further investigation of the 13th January, Medininkai and other cases.
During the meeting organized on the initiative of the Foreign Minister the ministers and the Prosecutor General decided to aim at active cooperation with Russia in law enforcement sphere and to look for solutions to the issues important for Lithuania, basing upon the signed agreements and bilateral cooperation institutions.
