Commission investigating reports in the public domain concerning possible violations at the Embassy in the United States concludes its work

The commission established to investigate information that appeared in the public domain has completed its work and submitted its findings to the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The findings identify possible violations at the Embassy of Lithuania in the United States of America.
The commission’s findings provide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a basis for taking further action.
The Minister has instructed the relevant departments of the Ministry to assess the established circumstances and submit proposals on appropriate measures to be taken by the end of October 2026.
