Chancellor of Lithuanian Foreign Ministry attends the EU Secretary Generals meeting in Rome
On 25-26 May, the Chancellor of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jūratė Raguckienė attended the informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministry Secretary Generals (Chancellors) in Rome.
The meeting discussed the role of EU foreign ministers in conducting the EU’s external policies, ministry team personnel policies, sharing premises of diplomatic representations and EU delegations and security practices including safeguarding the premises.
The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini presented priorities for the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union to the participants of the event. On 1 July, Italy will take over the Presidency of the EU Council.
