BUREAU OF LITHUANIA’S HONORARY CONSUL OPENED IN LIECHTENSTEIN
On 16 June, bureau of Lithuania’s Honorary Consul Mark Anthony Keel was officially opened in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Representatives from Liechtenstein’s Parliament, Government, business and diplomatic corps took part in the opening of the Consulate.
Lithuanian Ambassador Giedrius Puodžiūnas stressed his belief that the new Consulate in Liechtenstein would undoubtedly contribute to establishing new cooperation ties between Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
Liechtenstein’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Aurelia Frick welcomed the opening of the new Consulate. She was glad that from now on Lithuania was going to be directly represented in Liechtenstein.
Lithuania’s Honorary Consul in Liechtenstein M.A.Keel is a partner and an executive director of company Alterna AG consulting small and medium-sized businesses in Liechtenstein, Austria and Switzerland. During his free time, M.A.Keel takes interest in the art, he owns an art gallery.
During his tenure as Lithuania’s Honorary Consul, M.A.Keel intends to dedicate major attention to promote economic and cultural relations between Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
Young Lithuanian performers of classical music – violoncellist Glebas Pyšniakas and violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė – gave a concert during the opening of the bureau of Lithuania’s Honorary Consul.
