Budrys speaks at the EU Ambassadors Conference in Brussels on EU-China relations
On 9 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kęstutis Budrys, while on a working visit to Brussels will attend the annual European Union Ambassadors Conference at the invitation of the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
The head of Lithuania's diplomacy will speak at a discussion on the EU-China relations in the context of intensifying geopolitical competition and tensions, and will meet with EU ambassadors from Lithuania.
In Brussels, the Minister will also meet with Isabel Riaño Ibanez, the Director-General for Competitiveness and Trade (COMPET) at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, to discuss Lithuania's preparations for its Presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2027 and the EU trade policy agenda that is relevant during this period.
