Budrys discusses cooperation with Vietnam’s largest energy company
On 28 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kęstutis Budrys, met in Hanoi with executives from PetroVietnam, Vietnam’s largest oil and gas energy company.
During the meeting with the CEO of PetroVietnam, Le Manhu Cuong, the Minister discussed cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Budrys highlighted Lithuania’s experience in developing and managing LNG infrastructure, as well as Lithuania's readiness to contribute to Vietnam’s energy transition.
“Lithuania is ready to share its experience in the field of LNG infrastructure and to develop practical cooperation with Vietnamese partners. We hope this will contribute to the implementation of projects that are beneficial to both countries,” said the Minister.
Budrys also invited representatives of PetroVietnam to visit the Klaipėda LNG terminal.
