Budrys after the attacks on Kyiv: we mourn with the Ukrainians and we will not stop striving for justice

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, expressed his condolences after Russia's deadliest attack on Kyiv in recent months. The strikes on the capital overnight from June 17 to June 18 killed 30 people and wounded over 100.
“These cynical terrorist attacks confirm the brutality of Russia’s genocidal war and prove that Russia was never interested in peace,” the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy wrote in the Ukrainian Embassy’s Condolence Book.
Budrys affirmed that Lithuania strongly supports Ukraine in its darkest hours inthe fight for freedom, sovereignty, and justice: “We grieve with you. We will never forget, and never stop striving for justice”.
On the night of June 18, Kyiv suffered one of the largest attacks since the beginning of the Russian war. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, a total of 440 Russian drones and 32 missiles hit the country that night.
