BELARUSIAN DIPLOMATS ARE INTERESTED IN CHANGES AFTER LITHUANIA’S ACCESSION TO THE EU
On 19-20 December diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus paid a visit to Lithuania and together with representatives of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Defence discussed security policy issues.
Lithuanian officials told about changes in the country’s foreign policy and army reforms after Lithuania’s accession to the EU and NATO. Belarusian diplomats were most interested in compatibility of Lithuania’s foreign and security policy changes and good neighbourhood relations.
Guests from Belarus also visited Lithuanian army's training centre in Rukla where they were acquainted with Lithuanian soldiers’ training system and their living conditions.
