BELARUS APOLOGIZED FOR THE DETENTION OF LITHUANIAN JOURNALISTS IN MINSK

On April 22, Belarusian Ambassador to Lithuania Vladimir Drazhin visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. During his meeting with Undersecretary of the Ministry Laimonas Talat-Kelpša, important issues of bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Belarus were discussed.

Ambassador V.Drazhin conveyed the apology of Belarus for the incident on March 25 in Minsk, when the Lithuanian National Radio and Television journalists, accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, were unlawfully and forcibly detained.
