ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER IS TO PAY A VISIT TO LITHUANIA

On 26 January in Vilnius, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis is to meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who will be paying a visit to Lithuania. The ministers intend to sign the intergovernmental agreement on cultural cooperation between Lithuania and Armenia. The meeting will focus on possibilities for developing bilateral relations. In 2011, Lithuania and Armenia marked the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
E.Nalbandian will also meet with Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and the leadership of the Seimas (Parliament).On 26 November last year, Nalbandian paid a visit to Lithuania. Together with Ažubalis, Nalbandian opened the Embassy of Armenia in Vilnius.
