ANNIVERSARY OF SMOLENSK TRAGEDY TO BE COMMEMORATED IN VILNIUS
On 10 April, a concert “In Memoriam” to commemorate the first anniversary of tragic death of Poland's President Lech Kaczynski, his wife and the members of accompanying delegation near Smolensk will be held in Vilnius.
Highest state officials, foreign countries' diplomats, members of the Seimas and other representatives of the society are invited to the concert, patronized by Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis.
The concert will be performed by State Choir “Vilnius”, led by the conductor Povilas Gylys. Actress Dalia Michelevičiūtė will read the poetry of Czeslaw Milosz.
«In memoriam» organized by Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking place in Vilnius St.Johns church (Šv. Jono st. 12, Vilnius). Admission is free, you are welcome to attend.
L.Kaczynski served as President of Poland from 2005 to 2010.
