Ambassador of Lithuania Borisovas presented letters of credence to the President of Croatia
On 26 October in Zagreb, the Ambassador of Lithuania Eduardas Borisovas presented his letters of credence to the President of Croatia Zoran Milanović.
After the ceremony, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral cooperation and the most pressing security policy issues. The President of Croatia emphasised the relevance of processes in the Western Balkans and the prospects of European integration in the region. The Ambassador stressed the need to resist Russia's aggression and support Ukraine. They also discussed topical migration issues in the Western Balkans and the Baltic Sea region.
Ambassador Borisovas is the second Ambassador of Lithuania, who permanently resides in Croatia. From March 2019 to August 2023, Jūratė Raguckienė served as the Ambassador of Lithuania to Croatia.
