Ambassador Artūras Gailiūnas presented his letters of credence to the President of Egypt

On 15 September, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Egypt Artūras Gailiūnas presented his letters of credence to the President of Egypt Abdul Fattah al-Sisi during an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
After the presentation ceremony, the President and the Ambassador exchanged views on the activities of the Lithuanian-Egyptian Intergovernmental Commission.
Lithuania and Egypt established their diplomatic relations on 22 January 1992. Lithuania opened its Embassy in Cairo on 2 December 2001. Gailiūnas is the 4th Ambassador of Lithuania to Egypt.
