Ahead of February 16th celebrations, the National Anthem was sung in Lukiškės Square
Today, on 13 February, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, the staff of state institutions sang the Lithuanian anthem together in Lukiškės Square in Vilnius.
Greeting the attendees, the Foreign Minister urged them to take responsibility for the future and well-being of Lithuania.
“Let’s not forget our responsibility. Let’s do everything we can and more to keep our freedom safe,” said Budrys.
Held since 2018, the singing of the anthem in Lukiškės Square is an annual celebration of unity and freedom, which brings together employees of state institutions located in the neighbourhood on the eve of 16 February.
