AFGHANISTAN’S AMBASSADOR TO LITHUANIA TO VISIT VILNIUS

On 29 September Lithuanian Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis met with Afghanistan’s Ambassador Abdul H. Haider who pays a visit to Lithuania.
In the meeting the possibilities of Lithuania’s participation in Afghanistan reconstruction projects were discussed.
During his visit to Vilnius Afghanistan’s Ambassador who resides in Warsaw also met with representatives of the Ministries of Defence, Education and Science, Health, and Economy.
Abdul H. Haider also visited Vilnius’ St. Christopher’s secondary school where he told the students about the difficulties the youth experiences in Afghanistan and undertook to deliver Lithuanian students’ letters and drawings to the students of Ghor province.
