A CONSULATE HEADED BY LITHUANIAN HONORARY CONSUL OPENS IN OLSZTYN
On 28 October, a Consulate headed by Lithuanian Honorary Consul Henryk Banasiak opened in Olsztyn, the capital-city of Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
This is the sixth Consulate of Lithuania in Poland headed by an Honorary Consul.
H.Banasiak is appointed to exercise consular functions in the Warmian-Masurian consular district.
Ambassador of Lithuania to Poland Egidijus Meilūnas took part in the opening of the Consulate and stressed the importance of the establishment of the Consulate in Olsztyn for the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
“The Consulate will contribute to the development of economic, cultural and scientific cooperation between Lithuania and the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship ”, noticed Ambassador E.Meilūnas.
