15 years after September 11

We will not forget the terrorist attacks of September 11 that were carried out against the United States of America 15 years ago. We look back with sadness at these events and mourn the Americans who were killed on that tragic day, also citizens of other countries, including Lithuania.
“We have to understand that terrorism knows no borders, so the entire international community must rally its efforts to fight against this evil,” says Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius.
Lithuania stands in solidarity with its strategic transatlantic partners and continues to consistently support the US-led international coalition against terrorism.
