Diplomatic relations:
Nepal recognized Lithuania de jure on 10 September 1991.
Diplomatic relations were established on 8 February 2005.
From 2015 Laimonas Talat-Kelpša is serving as the first Ambassador of Lithuania to Nepal.

Lithuania is represented from the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of India, People's Republic of Bangladesh, Nepal and Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
