| List of prohibited articles that must never be carried or taken into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania |
Visitors are prohibited from carrying the following items into the complex of buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, its premises and territory (hereinafter 'the Object’): • weapons, explosives, their parts, and special devices (like gas cans and handcuffs, etc.), other similar items; • armed and/or armored military equipment; • pyrotechnics; • toxic chemicals; • materials, objects, and equipment emitting ionizing radiation that exceeds legal limits; • infectious or bio-pollution-emitting or potentially-emitting substances; • covert listening devices (acoustic, inductive, radio-technical, laser, or other), clandestine image or sound recording; • objects, tools, or implements that do not correspond to the nature of the visit and are not classified as weapons and, because of their striking, penetrating, crushing, cutting, suffocating, or other characteristics, could be used as weapons, toxic, explosive, and flammable materials. Security personnel responsible for ensuring the safety of the Object may, at their discretion, prohibit carrying (taking) other objects (or materials) into the Object that pose a threat to public order, human life, and/or health. |
