On 18 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius extended his condolences to the Chairman of the Law and Justice Party, the former Prime Minister of Poland Jarosław Kaczyński over the death of his mother Jadwiga Kaczyńska.

The Foreign Minister wrote in the letter of condolences: “We are deeply grieved at the sad news of the death of your mother Jadwiga Kaczyńska. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your tragic loss.”
