Lithuania’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Vytautas Leškevičius is paying a visit to Strasbourg from 14 to 17 January, where he is attending the plenary session of the European Parliament. During the session, Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Prime Minister of Ireland, will present the Programme of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The visit of Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister will include meetings with Chair of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament Hannes Swoboda, Chair of the Group of the European People’s Party Joseph Daul, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok, Chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs Klaus-Heiner Lehne, Secretary-General of the European Parliament Klaus Welle, Members of the European Parliament elected in Lithuania, and other representatives in the EP.
Leškevičius will also hold meetings with Lucinda Creighton, Minister of State for European Affairs of the current Irish Presidency of the EU Council, and Andreas Mavroyiannis, Deputy Minister for European Affairs for Cyprus.
