On 4 January, Lithuanian Consul General Valdemaras Sarapinas and employees of the Lithuanian Consulate General in New York were thanked by the representatives of the New York State Assembly for the contribution to the strengthening of bilateral ties and for presenting Lithuania to the institutions and the community of the New York State.
During the ceremony, Sarapinas voiced his belief that the cooperation between Lithuania and the New York State in the spheres of business and investment promotion, transport, tourism and culture would continue to grow and expand in the years to come.
The Lithuanian Consul General also suggested organizing a visit of the state’s businessmen to Lithuania.
Michael Miller, a member of the New York State Assembly, offered to organise a similar visit to the state in the North-eastern region of the United States also for Lithuanian entrepreneurs. |
