On 17 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius is to pay a working visit to Latvia. It will be the first bilateral visit of Linkevičius to a foreign country, after he assumed office as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The visit of Lithuania’s Foreign Minister will include meetings with the President of Latvia Andris Bērziņš, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Transport Aivis Ronis, and Minister of Defence Minister Artis Pabriks.
The meetings will discuss bilateral relations between Lithuania and Latvia, regional cooperation, EU multiannual financial framework negotiations, the Eastern Partnership initiative, and other issues. |
