During the Lithuanian-Armenian political consultations on 22 January in Vilnius, Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Vytautas Leškevičius and the delegation led by the Armenian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chief Negotiator Zohrab Mnatsakanian discussed relations between the EU and Armenia, and the negotiations of the EU-Armenia Association Agreement.
Leškevičius highlighted the successful negotiations of the EU-Armenia Association Agreement including close cooperation and a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. The Minister expressed hope that concrete and substantial results would be achieved in the EU-Armenia relations at the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November this year. |
