Outgoing U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent a farewell letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius, thanking for a pleasure to work with Lithuania’s diplomatic service during her tenure as Secretary of State.
In her letter, Clinton expresses gladness that the two governments further strengthened the partnership between the countries and made progress on a full range of challenges, including energy diversification at home and support for civil society worldwide.
Former U.S. Secretary of State also remembers with fondness laying a wreath in memory of the brave men and women who fought to regain Lithuania’s freedom.
