On 23 July in Vilnius, at the ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the U.S. declaration on non-recognition of the annexation of the Baltic States, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis thanked the people of the U.S.A. for implementing a long-term policy that did not recognize the unlawful occupation and annexation of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia after the World War II.

2010-07-21 LITHUANIA’S OSCE CHAIRMANSHIP TEAM IS PREPARING FOR 2011

On 19-23 July in Vienna, the team for Lithuania’s Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) from the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and employees of Lithuania’s Permanent Representation to the OSCE in Vienna are participating in the training at the OSCE Secretariat. The training is intended to prepare personnel for Lithuania’s chairmanship of the OSCE in 2011.
