Areas of activities and duties of the Vice-Minister Egidijus Meilūnas

  • oversees the shaping of security policy and its implementation, as well as the expansion of trans-Atlantic, bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign countries and regions
  • is responsible for the issues concerning the economic diplomacy, export and investment promotion, membership in international economic organisations, and economic security
  • supervises the expansion of relations with countries in Asia and Oceania
  • coordinates the implementation of the Lithuanian and Global Lithuanian Strategy
  • supervises the activities of honorary consuls
  • performs other duties as assigned by the Foreign Minister
