      On 4 February, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas met with the new Ambassador of San Marino to Lithuania Silvia Berti.

      The participants of the meeting shared insights into international issues. N. Germanas and S. Berti welcomed the bilateral relationship. The interlocutors also agreed to strengthen and develop the cooperation between Lithuania and San Marino in the fields of culture, education, and tourism. Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister N. Germanas also drew attention to the bilateral cooperation within international organizations.

      The Republic of San Marino is Europe’s oldest republic. It was founded in 301 A. D. Lithuania and San Marino established their diplomatic relations on 6 March 2003.
