      Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister invites EU INTCEN to cooperate with Vilnius-based NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence

      On 15 May in Vilnius, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius and the Director of EU Intelligence and Situation Centre (INTCEN) Gerhard Conrad discussed hybrid threats, strengthening the EU’s and national resilience, Lithuania’s fight against hybrid threats and efforts to build a crisis management system.

      The interlocutors highlighted the importance of coordination and cooperation among INTCEN, NATO and national competent authorities of the member states on the fight against hybrid threats.

      Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister invited INTCEN to cooperate with the Vilnius-based NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and took interest in INTCEN’s possible interaction with the Helsinki-based European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats.

      EU INTCEN, which is part of the European External Action Service, provides intelligence analyses and situation assessment reports to the EU Political and Security Committee.
